New Job at Oppenheimer Funds
My summer contract position with Thomson Healthcare has already come to an end, after just 3 short months. The project I worked on was successfully launched, which was very rewarding, but unfortunately they don’t have any budget to keep any of their contractors further.
It was just a few months ago that I went thru this process of finding a new contract.
This job search, I spent about 3-4 weeks and had 2 offers after going on 4-5 interviews. Last week, I happily accepted what looks like a promising position with Oppenheimer Funds which is just minutes away from our house. It’s a 6 month contract with the opportunity to join the company full time in 2008. Like Thomson, the location I will be working at is just minutes away from our house, which is awesome. I will be working with their external website team – so soon I will be able to make my stamp on www.oppenheimerfunds.com!
