October Florida Trip

We recently spent 5 nights in Florida, returning to our condo in Cocoa Beach, Florida for the first time in nearly a year. The weather could not have been better - cold and snowy her in Englewood, while we had high 80’s or low 90’s every day we were down there.
This was the first time it was just the three of us down there together, and while it was quiet, we had a great time. Carrie got a lot done to repair and improve the condo, while I spent a lot of great time with Tobey on the beach. Parents of young children call this “divide and conquer”. We also had great day trips with the three of us to Daytona Beach and Magic Kingdom in Orlando. Daytona Beach was a trip down memory lane for Carrie, who hadn’t been there in around 20 years, and it was fun to experience for the first time for Tobey and I. Tobey really enjoyed Magic Kingdom and we went on a total of 10 rides, if you count the train, before succumbing to exhaustion.
Tobey also overcame a lot of fears from his first 2 trips to Florida when he was 1 and 2. My favorite picture from the vacation is the one taken from behind him and he’s running with absolute glee towards the ocean.

If this vacation looks interesting, maybe you would like to take a vacation like this yourself. Going to need a good vacation rental while you are there. Also, once you are done traveling to Italy, why not scoot over and look at the wonderful Caribbean vacation rentals, or maybe even a good Caribbean villa to rent for a vacation in the Caribbean.

This is a great way to travel! I have never been to Florida, but Grandpa and I took a bus trip from Columbia, South Carolina, to the beach at Charleston, and called it our second honeymoon.
