Viva Las Anniversary
This past weekend, Carrie and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary by taking a trip to Las Vegas.
Grammy and Gramps graciously watched Tobey from Friday thru Monday so that we could “get away”. (Thanks again!) Karl and Amy met us there and helped us celebrate. We had a great time. We explored the surrounding casinos, and even brought a little of the house’s money home with us. The highlights (from the author’s perspective) were seeing the Blue Man Group on Saturday night, and watching the Nuggets win Game #1 from the Venetian sports room.

Dave and I are looking forward to our 35th anniversary coming up on May 31st! I am so happy that you had a getaway to Las Vegas. Your pictures are wonderful and seeing a blurry one or two makes me feel better as a not so good photographer. Greetings from Concordia where the four original Wayne Switzers have now viewed your latest picture story. ( Your Dad said he had seen them at your return to Denver.) We now have enlargements of number 13 and number 18–close-ups of the anniversary couple and the sisters and their mates. Nice you could travel together.
We may send you a picture of the ‘originals’ taken after the potluck dinner at the church today.

Aunt JoAnn, I unfortunately didn’t get any of my Grandpa Switzer’s photography gene. However, the digital age of photography works quite well with my style of quantity over quality - every now and then I get a good picture, so I take as many as possible…
Grandma and Grandpa S… enjoyed the “originals” picture you sent very much.
Amy and Karl - I’m booking tickets for all 4 of us to be in Vegas Wednesday night! JK, but I do agree that we brought them good luck while in Vegas!
