Denver Auto Show
I ran across a website months ago for the Denver Auto Show and thought to myself - Tobey would love that.
The show was held at the new Colorado Convention Center this weekend so I organized an outing on Saturday morning. If you’ve never been to an auto show like this, it is basically a chance for auto makers to show their latest model cars, and sometimes a “concept car” of something they may or may not make in the future. There were also areas for accessory makers to show their wares, like custom DVD players built into the backs of headrests. Cool!
Tobey, Grammy, Gramps, my friend and neighbor Chris, and myself were in attendance. As expected, Tobey was our tour guide. He headed right for the nearest car as soon as we entered the convention center floor area, and wanted us to open the door so he could climb inside. *You’ll see lots of pictures of this below* His other favorite moments were climbing in the back of pick-up trucks, usually with Grammy, and getting a “free ride” on Gramps shoulders for awhile. It was all quite fun. In between, the rest of us checked out a few of our favorite vehicles. Chris and I enjoyed the Volkwagens (he owns an Audi and I have a Passat) and some of the exotic models like Ferrari, Bentley, and Astin Martin. Dad looked good in a BMW sportscar convertible, and Mom looked lovely in a Pontiac Vibe.

We now have several nice enlargements of pictures taken at the Denver Auto Show. Of course we especially like seeing the people!
