Tobey’s Day at the Zoo
On Saturday, Tobey paid his first visit to the Denver Zoo. Carrie’s friend Deb Ware, her daughter Tori, and Deb’s friend and son Jack also joined us there. Tobey has already shown a curiosity for animals, and had a great time. He was able to practice most of his animal noises as he ran across the various animals during the visit - everything but “moo” I think - no cows at the zoo.

Great Pictures Alan and Carrie! Thanks for sharing. I see that Tobey has learned to keep his hat on longer than before! You can tell that he really enjoyed the ducks and the fish!

By using the ‘next’ click, we were able to see each picture in its enlarged form, and we made prints of several. What a nice experience for Tobey to practice his animal sounds. We could spend all day on the Virtual Zoo Tour!

Next field trip will be to a farm, so Tobey can moo, oink, etc! The Denver Zoo has added a lot since I was last there: eons ago…time to go back, huh? Carrie and Alan, if you ever get a chance, go to the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha. It has a fabulous indoor rainforest exhibit. Anyway, hello from Calif., enjoyed your pics very much. I finished my 3rd Comprehensive last night…3 to go.

Only got a brief look at your great pictures from the Denver Zoo this morning. I just had a more leisurely look and I loved them. What fun you had at the Zoo! From Tobey’s expression I could almost imagine what he was thinking in the picture by the fish and the close-up in the park.
