Texas and Michigan Trips
In late June and early July, thanks to some cheap airfare from United, we took short trips to see Carrie’s family - Tracy, Tom, J.T., Jack, Ray & Cathy in Dallas, and Celine, Michael, William, Amy & Karl in Michigan. We got to see Tracy and Tom’s new house on a golf course, swim and play cars and video games with Tobey’s cousins, celebrate Karl’s birthday on the fourth of July, watch a great fireworks display in Celine and Michael’s backyard, play 3 rounds of golf (okay that was just me) and of course - build some great memories.
Highlights of the trip, (from my limited perspective) were playing with Jack and J.T., watching Tobey enjoy the Hauswirth backyard swimming pool, getting a night out with Carrie, (we saw “The Terminal) a great fireworks show in Lansing, and re-kindling a passion for golf thanks to tips from Tom and Karl.

We feel we have been to Dallas and to Michigan where we met Carrie’s family and can call them each by name. We have gone "next" all the way through, and "previous" all the way back again. Great pictures!
