Happy Valentine’s Day

Our Valentine’s Day this year was spread out over the past two weekends.

Last weekend, we spent a romantic night in Estes Park. The getaway was thanks to Grammy and Gramps (my Mom and Dad) who watched Tobey in Boulder. They had a fun afternoon and evening and he repaid them by sleeping thru the night, something he’s starting to get quite good at. (Yeah!) Carrie and I walked thru the town where we got married, had a romantic dinner, and caught a great movie - “Big Fish“. We stayed in a new place on the river that was quite near where we stayed on our wedding night.

This weekend, we celebrated Valentine’s Day with our children on Friday afternoon - sharing a few small gifts and cards with Ashley and Tobey. On Valentine’s Day we had the pleasure of watching Gabrielle Waldheim for a few hours while Dan and Deb got out for dinner. Today, they are returning the favor and watching Tobey this afternoon while Carrie and I get out to catch another movie. When you haven’t been to the theatre in quite awhile - there are a lot of movies to choose from! :) We hope to make “baby swapping” a somewhat regular occurance.

We wish you, your sweetheart and your little sweethearts a Happy Valentine’s Day!

I just got the Rehearsal Dinner Invitations in the mail yesterday, so lokk for that. (P.S. There are no pictures of my Valentine’s available because we went to a motel and left our baby of 18 home alone!)
