Father’s Day at the Ballpark
Carrie, Tobey and Mom treated Dad and I to an afternoon at Coors Field ballpark to watch the Rockies play the Baltimore Orioles. It was Tobey’s first ballgame - and he really enjoyed himself. When we arrived on our leve and he caught his first glimpse of the green, green grass of the ballpark - he let out an “ohhhhhh!!!”. He enjoyed being able to roam from one of our four seats to the other, and made friends with everyone in front of us, especially when he couldn’t stop touching the Rockies jacket of the man sitting in front of Carrie.
There are 9 photos in this related photo gallery. The last one is from playing in the morning with Tobey’s gift to me - a new climbing area and slide. A great way to spend future weekend mornings and weekday evenings for sure!
My Dad and I thank Carrie, Tobey, and Mom for a great Father’s Day at the ballpark.

Thanks for sharing your ‘double’ Father’s Day with us. We now have some new pictures for Tobey’s picture book. He looks pleased with the gift he gave you, Alan! Children always look so angelic when catching their Zzzzz’s.

The pictures and captions tell a great story! So glad I was there!
Thanks Carrie for the great idea and getting our tickets ordered.

Wow, a baseball game at the Rockies ballpark! Lucky daddies! I have fond memories of that place, so did Tobey get to go see the giant coke bottle slide and play area? Did you take him to the kid’s cafe where everything is down low at their level? Okay, now come to S.F. and go see Barry Bonds with us! Our stadium has water all around it, Tobey, and fans swim to catch home runs!
