Tobey’s Baptism
It was a big weekend for Tobey. On Saturday, he attended a shower that friends thru for Carrie, and today he turned 1 month old, and was baptized at our church.
The baptism went very well, and the daily baths Carrie has given Tobey - including a hair washing, meant that the actualy baptism wasn’t too much of a shock for Tobey. Reverend John and Reverend Bonnie performed a wonderful ceremony. Tobey now officially has Amy and Brian Matthews and Amy and Karl Lagler as his godparents. After the service, we posed a few photos. A highlight was having four generations of “Wayne” together. We were also touched by the friends that could join us for Tobey’s special day, along with his family. For anyone that couldn’t be with us - well, that’s exactly why this journal entry is being written! Know that Tobey felt all of your love, well wishes, and generosity that we have received. We have a few thank-you notes to write in the coming weeks. 
With the special occasion, there were many photos taken. I’ve tried to show the highlights here so this page doesn’t take too long to load. Next time you are here at our house, I’d be happy to show you the rest in person!

Hi Guys! I miss you all already! I had a great time. Right now I’m in my Dreamweaver class but it is going too slow so I am goofing around! It is GREAT but, alas, not as great as being with you! Thanks for having me out
