Tobey’s 1st Nuggets Game
Carrie and I took Tobey to his first Nuggets game tonight at the Pepsi Center in downtown Denver. The Nuggets had a tough loss to the Sonics but otherwise, it was a wonderful night.
Tobey had a great time, and stayed up extra late to see nearly all of the game. He sat on my lap or Carrie’s for most of the evening as was mesmerized by all the people, lights, players, jumbotron and cheerleaders. He jumped several times when the sound system pumped up some song suddenly to rouse the crowd. Never fussed once, and fell fast asleep on my shoulder on the walk to our car. That’s my boy.

Wow! Sorry, but since I have the 2 cutest boys, all your cute Tobey moments pale somewhat in comparison! No really, Tobey is the cutest, most adorable boy in Colorado!!! But first, I must say…. Facial Hair, Alan?!?!?!? Wow, the rugged side of my cousin comes out!!! Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Humm, growing a beard, huh? Cute Alan. We women just get perms or color our hair when we want a change! Looks like this Switzer boy is learning to pose and smile on command! One question: "Why doesn’t he have a we’re number one glove or huge pennant in that right hand?" HA-ha. Oh, by the way, Carrie, you look fabulous, too!

Tobey is an official Nuggets officianado now!!! I can see it in his eyes Twizzy….They’re saying, "20 years from now I’ll be raising the roof off of The Pepsi Center as I (Tobey) lead the Nuggets to their 3rd NBA Championship in a row".

Tobey’s parents’ enthusiasm for the game is catching. Everyone looks so happy. With the score 106 to 115, there had to be lots of action.
In Concordia we quite often see babies at the games. I’ve always wondered how they can take all that noise so in stride!
