Labor Day Recap

Labor Day weekend means our annual trip to Aspen (Motherlode Volleyball tourney) and Redstone. (to see Gram and Gramp)

Last year we had a great time telling our friends in Aspen (its a volleyball reunion with friends from all over, like the Hansens travelling all the way from Raleigh, NC) our exciting news that Carrie was pregnant. A year later, we were introducing everyone to Tobey Wayne, and meeting or checking in on the growth of many, many children - Trey and Tori Hansen, T.J. and Ryan Smith, Madison Lockwood, Rowdy and Maverick Martin, and Annika Nicholl, just to name a few!

We stayed with the Lockwoods (Mike, Lisa, and Madison) in Aspen and had a great weekend. It was rumored to be cold and rainy, but other than a portion of Saturday, it was beautiful and warm up there. Tobey has been teething lately, so he was a little fussy during the ride up. We choose to go over the Independence Pass, and we took the opportunity to snap a few photos with Tobey there at the peak.

    We have just captured your entire photo album of the Labor Day Recap on two sheets of coated ink jet paper, and then printed some of the larger ones. What beautiful color and expressions!—not the least of which is 33 of 33 with Gram, Gramp, and Tobey!

    One year later….was captured beautifully! Looks like introducing Tobey in Aspen and Redstone was wonderful! Really like the summit pics.
