2002 Parade of Homes
Ever want to walk around in dream-land and see where you could live if you won the PowerBall Lottery? Well, the 2002 Parade of Homes is great for that. When you put together 7 homes all over 5,000 square feet in size, and most valued at over 1,000,000 as a selling price, you must excuse my drool on those shaggy carpets. Seriously though, thanks to Lisa and Mike Lockwood, we had free tickets to go enjoy the sights. I highly recommend checking it out, although this year’s show only lasts one more week. It’s located right near us this year, so if you are interested, contact me for directions!
The highlights from this years show were a swimming pool that was integrated into the landscaping, and roaming buffaloes just beyond the backyard of several of the homes. Mike was willing to pay extra for any lot close to the herd. They were pretty cool.
